Thomas Pendergrass - 3D Animator, Storyteller, Video Game Programmer

Immersive, epic, full blown memorable experiences in video games are things that have stuck with me since the NES days of my past.
Classic moments in video games such as the Half Life series, Arx Fatalis and the original Deus Ex have inspired me to develop the skills necessary to share my own dreams and adventures. I've been an avid storyteller since middle school, creating screenplays and running home brew pen and paper games with my friends, and later on learning how to animate and edit during my free periods in high school. Each experience I've had in the past springboards me towards succeeding in the present.
I have a powerful attraction towards the process of developing a fictional object from concept to virtual representation. I create characters with personalities, internal desires, and motives. I weave plots and storylines involving multiple events simultaneously acting and reacting to create ever evolving situations, conflicts, and unexpected outcomes. And most importantly, I do my best to gain exposure to the full process of video game creation, to better comprehend the big picture of how important every aspect can be.
Today I am proud to have earned a bachelors degree in Creative Media. I continue to produce and complete the projects I've started in College, while actively seeking the next opportunity to apply my set of skills to further develop and evolve the standards of virtual content.
